====== MiRally Timing ======

Rabbit Rally 2.0 can also work as a timing GPS for [[en:mirally:index|MiRally SmartControl]]. This way, in rallies timed with MiRally, your own phone or tablet sends your position to the organisers' timing system.

==== Connecting to MiRally ====

  - Open the [[en:rabbit-rally-2-0-competidores:rabbit-rally-primeros-pasos:conexiones|Connections]] screen.
  - Tap **Timing System**, in the MiRally Crono group.
  - Enter the email and password of your MiRally account and tap Login.

Once connected, the Rabbit records your GPS position every second and sends it to MiRally. If you lose the internet connection, the positions are stored on the phone and sent when coverage comes back.

==== MiRally Crono screen ====

On this screen you can check that everything is working:

  * **MiRally** and **Rabbit**: the GPS time and the Rabbit's time. The sync button sets the Rabbit's clock to the GPS time.
  * **Battery icon**: the device's battery level and whether it is charging.
  * **Map icon**: the accuracy of the GPS position, in metres.
  * **Cloud icon**: the number of positions waiting to be sent.
  * **Wi-Fi icon**: the status of the data sending (Sending, OK, Waiting Internet or the error received).

To disconnect your account, double-tap your email and confirm.

==== Checkpoint alerts ====

During navigation, when you pass a MiRally checkpoint (PC), the Rabbit shows the name of the PC on the navigation screen for a few seconds.

==== Error messages ====

  * **ERR(01): Device not registered**
  * **ERR(02): No race today**
  * **ERR(03): Not registered in a race**
  * **ERR(99): Contact MiRally**

If any of these errors appears, talk to the rally organisers.

**Important! For the positions to arrive without gaps:**

  * Keep the phone connected to the charger during the whole rally.
  * Allow the Rabbit to use location in the background.
  * On Android, allow the Rabbit to run without battery optimisation restrictions.
