====== Add Manual Reference ======

References are normally added while you drive the stage, with the **Add reference** button (6 on the [[en:roadbook-designer-organizadores:empezando-a-dibujar:elementos-de-la-pantalla-de-navegacion|navigation screen]]) or with the Rabbit Box remote's +10 button. But sometimes you need to add a reference between two that already exist, for example if you forgot a junction.

==== Inserting a reference between others ====

  - On the neighbouring reference, tap the **⬆** arrow (insert above) or **⬇** (insert below).
  - A new empty reference appears, with the same distance as the neighbouring reference.
  - Tap the first box of the new reference to open the [[en:roadbook-designer-organizadores:edicion-del-roadbook:editor-de-referencia|Reference Editor]] and type its distance.
  - Tap the middle column to [[en:roadbook-designer-organizadores:empezando-a-dibujar:dibujar-vinetas|draw the tulip]].

If you are stopped at the exact point of the reference, open the Reference Editor and tap the **speedometer button** (or the remote's yellow button). The reference takes the odometer distance and the GPS coordinates of that point.

==== Setting the coordinates by hand ====

A reference inserted by hand has no GPS coordinates: its location icon is shown in red. To set them by hand, hold the location icon for 1 second and type the latitude and the longitude.

If you hold the **⬆** or **⬇** arrows for 1 second, or use the **Insert reference above** and **Insert reference below** options in the **⬅** arrow menu, what gets inserted is a **Regularity CP** with the same distance and coordinates, not a reference.
