====== Main Menu ======

The **Main Menu** is the first screen of the Roadbook Designer. All the other screens are opened from here. To come back to it from any screen, tap the Designer icon at the top left.

==== The first time ====

The first time you open the app, the Designer asks for the permissions it needs:

  * **Location**: to save the GPS coordinates in the references. It is mandatory; the app does not work without it.
  * **Camera**: to take photos for the cover and the references.
  * **Phone**: to save the mobile signal at each reference.

Tap **Proceed** and accept the permissions.

  - **Connections**: choose where the distance comes from (GPS, Rabbit Box, Rabbit PRO...). See [[en:roadbook-designer-organizadores:empezando-a-dibujar:conexiones|Connections]].
  - **Calibration**: calibrate the odometer. See [[en:roadbook-designer-organizadores:empezando-a-dibujar:elementos-de-la-pantalla-de-calibracion|Calibration Screen Elements]].
  - **Navigation**: the main screen, where the roadbook is drawn. See [[en:roadbook-designer-organizadores:empezando-a-dibujar:elementos-de-la-pantalla-de-navegacion|Navigation Screen Elements]].
  - **Stages**: a text summary of all the stages of the roadbook.
  - **Setup**: the Designer options. See [[en:roadbook-designer-organizadores:empezando-a-dibujar:configuracion|Setup]].
  - **Close App**: closes the Designer.
  - **Version** (at the bottom): shows the installed version. Tap it to open the Designer page on Google Play and check whether there is a new version.

<WRAP caution>
On the Navigation screen the phone's **Back** button does nothing, so that you don't lose your work with an accidental tap. Use the Designer icon to return to the Main Menu.
