As the cars complete the stage, the scores are released. On this page, the colours are based on the participants’ results – not on whether they are good or bad, but on their deviation.

For example, a participant with results ranging from 0 to 1 penalty point per PC, and a deviation of 0.3 points between PC scores. If one PC suddenly has a higher deviation, it will be coloured differently. This colour-coding system is designed to make it easier to review the results.

Then there is the colour blue. This does not refer to the penalty, but to the point that the system has selected at that control point. When the penalty is coloured blue, it indicates that the point selected to calculate the control point penalty is quite far from the control point’s 0.0 point. We need to check this and adjust it manually. One solution is usually to reduce the participant’s waypoint radius to 20. This error may also be caused by an incorrect bearing; if so, we should adjust that value.

Once all cars have completed the stage, we click ‘Calculate All’. We check all the results and, if everything appears to be correct, we can publish them.
