Car Remote
Adjustments are made easily with the remote buttons without having to touch the screen!
Use the green and red buttons directly when you go off line, for example when cutting a corner.
Post Adjustment
This odometer correction is the simplest to make:
- Quickly press the yellow button when passing the actual reference
- A dark background odometer correction screen opens with the odometer value at the moment you pressed the yellow button
- Change the distance to the official measurement of the current reference found in the event's roadbook
- Confirm with the yellow button
Advantage: it can be cancelled if you make a mistake at the point where you press the yellow button to mark the reference position.
Disadvantage: during the time you are changing the measurements you could have already made the correction in advance.
Advance Adjustment
Before reaching the reference you must prepare this correction:
- Hold the yellow button for 1 second before reaching the actual reference
- A red background odometer correction screen opens
- Change the distance to the official measurement of the next reference found in the event's roadbook
- When you are over the actual reference, confirm with the yellow button
Advantage: when passing the reference it adjusts at that very moment
Disadvantage: if you make a mistake at the exact point of confirming where the reference is, there is no way to correct it.
Smart Adjustment
In addition to the manual adjustment option, the Rabbit Box has an exclusive function when used with a digital RoadBook or with References in the stages. This function is one of the best innovations for rally enthusiasts! It greatly facilitates the task of making adjustments with maximum precision. When using it, the co-driver does not have to enter measurements or calculate adjustments!
- About (100/150) meters before the vignette, hold the yellow button for 01 second.
- A red screen opens that already shows the exact measurement of the next reference.
- When the car passes the reference marked in the vignette, quickly press the yellow button and the odometer will automatically adjust to the measurement shown in the route book for this vignette!
- If you forget to press the button when passing the vignette, simply cancel the operation by touching the screen.
Tips
- On the adjustment screens, use the green and red buttons if the difference is small. If the difference is very large, it will be faster to enter the complete distance using the on-screen keyboard.
- Attach the remote to the co-driver's door so you can rest your arm while waiting for the reference while looking outside.
- Have a phone for the driver in Driver Screen mode.
