Options Menu

At the bottom of the navigation screens there is a bar with five buttons:

The middle button opens the Options Menu, with tools that will get you out of trouble during the stage. Let's look at each of them.

Did you make an odometer correction in the wrong place? With this option you can undo it.

1. Open the Options Menu and select “Undo Adjust”.
2. A list opens with the odometer corrections of the stage, with the time and the metres of each one.
3. Select the correction you want to undo and confirm with OK.

The Rabbit subtracts (or adds) the metres of that correction from the odometer. In the logs it will appear as “Undo”.

Does the same as the REV button. With the reverse odometer on, the Rabbit subtracts the distance you drive instead of adding it. It is very useful when you overshoot a junction and have to go back: turn on the reverse odometer, go back to the reference and turn it off to continue the stage.

When it is on, the REV button turns red.

Shows in the Time to Ideal field the seconds left until the stage chronometer reaches a given time. It is useful when you know the time at which you must pass a point, for example at a time control.

1. Open the Options Menu and select “Time Countdown”.
2. Enter the chronometer time you want to reach (e.g. 00:12:30) and confirm with OK.

While the countdown is running, the ideal time sound alerts are paused. When the chronometer reaches that time, the Time to Ideal goes back to normal. To cancel it earlier, open the option again, delete the time and confirm with OK.

Opens the Fine-Tuning screen, just like the FT button. To learn more, see Fine-Tuning.

If the organisers stop you during the stage or give you extra time, you can add it to your start time without opening the Stage Editor.

1. Open the Options Menu and select “Pause / Time Allowance”.
2. Enter the seconds of the pause (e.g. 45) and confirm.

The Rabbit adds those seconds to the stage start time and recalculates the ideal time. If you make a mistake, you can enter a negative value (e.g. -45) to subtract them.

Warns you when you exceed a maximum speed, for example in rallies where exceeding a speed limit or a percentage above the set average is penalised. There are two values:

• Fixed Radar: a fixed maximum speed (e.g. 50 km/h).
• Percentage Radar: a percentage above the sub-stage speed (e.g. 20%).

The Rabbit always uses the lower of the two. For example, with Fixed Radar 50 and Percentage Radar 20%, on a sub-stage at 40 km/h the alert goes off from 48 km/h, and on a sub-stage at 45 km/h it goes off from 50 km/h.

When your real speed reaches that value, a speed limit sign appears on the navigation screen.

To set it up, open the Options Menu, select “Set Radar Alert” and tap each sign to change its value.
