====== Online entries and payments ======

As well as [[en:mirally:rally:inscritos|loading the list of entries with Excel]], MiRally lets competitors sign up directly on the website and, if you want, pay the entry fee online. Competitors see the process in [[en:mirally:portal-mirally:inscribirse-en-una-prueba|Signing up for an event]].

==== Opening registration ====

Online registration is set up in [[en:mirally:rally:editar-prueba|Edit Event]]:

  * **Vacancies** (Basic section): maximum number of competitors. It must be greater than 0 for the Sign up button to appear. When the places are full, new competitors go onto the reserve list.
  * **Registration opening date** and **Closing registration date** (Advanced section): the Sign up button only appears between these two dates.
  * **Public** (Basic section): so that the event appears in the calendar.
  * **Allow Clubs/Escuderias** (Basic section): adds the Club field to the form.

In the Advanced section you can also set:

  * **Email Post Inscription**: text of the email the competitor receives when signing up. For example, with the scrutineering schedule or the link to the regulations.
  * **Disclaimers**: documents the competitor must accept. Each one appears with a mandatory tick box and a link. Format: ''text;link#text;link''
  * **CustomQuestions**: questions the competitor must answer. All of them are mandatory. Format: ''question1#question2''

Each time someone signs up, you receive an email "[MiRally] Nueva inscripción" with their details, at your account's email address and at the event's Org. Email.

New entries arrive unconfirmed. Check the list in [[en:mirally:rally:inscritos|Registered]] and tick **Confirmed** for each accepted competitor.

==== Collecting entry fees: Manage Payments ====

To collect entry fees through MiRally:

  - In Edit Event -> Advanced, tick **Manage Payments** and save. A new icon (credit card) appears in the event menu.
  - Open **Manage Payments** and click **Settings**.
  - Set up the prices and payment methods (see below) and save.

In **Settings** you set:

  * **Limit date to bonus price**: until this date the bonus price applies.
  * **Bonus Price** and **Regular Price** for each category of the event.
  * Payment methods:
    * **Card or PayPal**: the payment goes straight to the organiser's PayPal account. To enable it, contact MiRally to link your PayPal account.
    * **Wire Transfer**: enter the account details and the instructions for the competitor in the text field.
    * **Pay on race day**: enter the instructions, for example "bring the exact amount in cash".
  * **Discounts**: optional discounts, with the format ''discount on regular price,discount on bonus price,description''. Separate each discount with ";". Example: ''10,5,Club member;20,20,Under 25''

==== Checking payments ====

The **Manage Payments** page shows all entries with the payment method, the payment status (**Waiting**, **Accepted** or **Rejected**), the amount paid and whether the entry is confirmed.

  * **Card or PayPal**: when the payment is completed, the status changes to Accepted and the entry is confirmed automatically.
  * **Wire Transfer** and **Pay on race day**: when you have checked the payment, click the pencil of the entry, change the status to **Accepted** and save. Then confirm the entry in [[en:mirally:rally:inscritos|Registered]].

Every change is recorded in the entry's payment history.
