====== Wheels Monitor ======

If you have both [[en:rabbit-rally-2-0-competidores:equipos-y-precision:sondas|sensors]] installed on the Rabbit Box or Rabbit PRO, the Rabbit can compare the two wheels all the time to detect measurement problems: a wheel spinning in the air in a corner, wheels slipping on a 4x4, or a sensor that stops counting pulses.

==== How it works ====

Above 25 km/h, every 3 seconds the Rabbit compares the distance counted by each sensor. If one of the sensors has not counted anything, or if one counts more than 25% more than the other, the Rabbit shows it at the top of the navigation screens and of the Connections screen. For example:

  * **MON: S1 Stopped (35mts)**: sensor 1 has not counted pulses while sensor 2 has counted 35 metres.
  * **MON: S2 Running Faster (12mts)**: the wheel with sensor 2 has turned 12 metres more than the other.

==== Setting up the Wheels Monitor ====

  - Open the [[en:rabbit-rally-2-0-competidores:rabbit-rally-primeros-pasos:conexiones|Connections]] screen.
  - Tap the 3 dots to the right of the **Rabbit Box** title.
  - Turn on the mode you want to use. Only one mode can be active.

The available modes are:

  * **Faster Wheel**: the Rabbit uses the sensor selected on the Connections screen, but if the other wheel turns FASTER, it adds that difference to make up for the LOST metres. For example, when the sensor's wheel lifts and spins in the air in a corner.
  * **Slower Wheel**: the Rabbit uses the selected sensor, but if the other wheel turns SLOWER, it subtracts that difference to make up for the metres COUNTED IN EXCESS. For example, on 4x4 vehicles whose wheels slip.
  * **Only Wheel Alerts**: only shows the warnings, without changing the odometer.
  * **Disabled**: the Wheels Monitor is turned off.

In the Faster Wheel and Slower Wheel modes, if one of the sensors stops counting pulses, the Rabbit adds the distance of the other sensor to it. This way you don't lose metres if a sensor fails in the middle of the stage.

**Recommendations:**

  * If you don't know your car's behaviour well, start with **Only Wheel Alerts**. This way you will see if your car has any of these problems before turning on the compensation.
