Fine Tuning
Another great Rabbit innovation! This function allows you to adjust any calibration errors in the most precise way possible.
If the co-driver has to make constant adjustments all the time (for example, always adding meters at each reference), the calibration may not be correct. In this case, it is necessary to do a “FINE TUNING” of the calibration to mark more or fewer meters per kilometer and compensate for any errors.
But how do you know how many meters to add or remove to adjust the calibration? The Rabbit archives all the adjustments made by the co-driver and, based on this data, suggests the most appropriate and precise adjustment!
Fine Tuning Process
- Make adjustments to the odometer, if necessary, at intervals of approximately 1 kilometer.
- Make several adjustments.
4. Go to the Fine Tuning section, using the AF button.
5. Review the adjustments that the Rabbit has saved.
6. Check the correction value it suggests and accept if it is correct.
7. When accepted, the calibration correction is automatically applied and the Fine Tuning data is cleared.
WARNING! Fine Tuning will change the odometer calibration and if you don't use it correctly it can greatly harm your result! You can go back to previous calibrations using the Calibration History (3 dots on the Fine Tuning or Calibration screen)
