Stage Editor (Basic)

When the event organizer releases the Average Speed Table, we need to enter all the data into the Rabbit using the Stage Editor. To open the Stage Editor, open the menu and select “Stages”.

The Rabbit Stage Editor is very flexible and can calculate any of the fields using the pyramid calculation. For example, in rallies where we receive distances and times, the Rabbit automatically calculates the average speed.

The Editor works separately from the Navigator to allow us to edit stages while we are running. That is why whenever we make a change to a stage we have to send the stage data to the Navigator.

When opening the stage editor for the first time, Stage 01 comes by default, as well as type V (Speed) and Initial Km = 0.

To add the sub-stages for Stage 01, simply follow these steps:

  1. Enter the End Km of the first average speed and press ENTER.
  2. Enter the speed and press ENTER.

At that moment, the stage editor automatically calculates the Duration and End Time of the sub-stage. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add all the sub-stages for this stage.

Important! In case of a mistake, whenever a field value is changed it must be confirmed with ENTER, so that the editor recalculates all the data.

To add other stages, simply follow these steps:

  1. Tap on Manage Stages and select “New”.
  2. Follow the same steps described in Stage 01 to add the sub-stages.

On the day of the event you will have all stages configured, you will only need to select the stage and set the start time. To do this:

  1. Click on Stage
  2. Select the Stage you are going to run
  3. Set the start time
  4. Click on “Send to Nav…”.

It is important to remember that this procedure must be repeated before the start of each stage.

To change data in an existing stage:

  1. Select the “Stages” screen.
  2. Click on Stage and select the stage you want to change.
  3. Make the necessary change and always confirm with ENTER.

Stages can be edited at any time, even during the event. Whenever you change the stage you are running, don't forget to send the data to Navigation in the Stage Editor options.
