Clock Synchronization
It is very important that you synchronize the Rabbit clock with the official event clock, as this will ensure that all time-based calculations are correct. To do this, follow the steps below.
- Go near the official event clock.
- In the Rabbit, open the “Clock Sync” screen.
3. Click the “GPS: dd/mmm hh:mm:ss” button (e.g. GPS: 16/MAR 12:41:36) to perform an automatic synchronisation.
4. Auto Sync by GPS will adjust any clock delays during the race using the GPS signal.
5. If necessary, make fine adjustments with the adjustment buttons.
6. To make the adjustment easier, you can enable the “beep per second” option, so while looking at the official clock you can hear the sound from your phone.
Important! The clocks must be identical in all parameters: hours, minutes and seconds.
Recommendations:
- Carry a digital stopwatch as backup
- If you restart the tablet, check if the time remains correct; in some cases it may vary by 1 or 2 seconds when restarting the device.
- Disable automatic time adjustment on the tablet
